Before a Village

Forms

You will need to complete or be familiar with these forms before a Village:

  • Travel Information Form
  • Health Form
  • Adult Legal Form
  • Child Travelling Alone Legal Form (for JCs aged 17 and under on the day of departure for the programme)
  • Child Travelling with Leader Legal Form (for child participants age 15 and under travelling with an adult leader)
  • Individual Participant Information Form (for participants or JCs traveling alone)

As a delegation leader, you or your NA will need to complete these forms before a Village:

All Forms are now filled in on myCISV.

Register on myCISV and let your Chapter know so they can assign you to the programme (see myCISV help notes for guidance).

Staff, Leaders and Participants must all be the proper age for each programme.

Village Age Requirements

Staff

  • Must be the proper age on the first day of the programme.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • At least one staff member (but preferably two staff members) must be at least 25 years old.

Junior Staff

  • Must be the proper age on the first day of the programme.
  • Up to one Junior Staff can be 18 years old, and a second Junior staff must be at least 19 years old; or two Junior Staff must be at least 19 years old.

Leaders

  • Must be the proper age on the day of departure for the programme.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Junior Counsellors

  • Must be the proper age on the day of departure for the programme and on the last day of the programme.
  • Must be 16 or 17 years old.

Participants

  • Must turn the proper age for the programme at any time during that programme year.
  • Must be 11 years old.
